Create a subtly glowing portrait using sterling silver, gold and copper. Discover the secrets of silverpoint. Learn Old Masters’ techniques. Explore new ones that make drawing with silverpoint as simple as drawing with your pencil. ALL LEVELS WELCOME

About the Instructor

Sherry Camhy’s work has been exhibited in and is part of the permanent collections of numerous museums. She curated The Silverpoint Exhibition at The National Arts Club (2013), and published Art of the Pencil (1997) and Robert Beverly Hale Lectures (2016). Articles by and about her have appeared in many art publications. When she is not giving workshops at The Art Students League, the School of Visual Arts, NYU Tisch School of the Arts or abroad, she can be found working in her studio in West Chelsea, NY.
