Takuji Hamanaka is an artist/printmaker trained at Japanese traditional print studio in Tokyo Japan where he mastered technique of printing by working on reproduction of Ukiyo-e master such as Hiroshige, Hokusai. He worked on various print edition projects for artists such as Sol Lewitt among others. He was included in many group shows in US, Europe and Asia. He is a recipient of NYFA fellowship, MacDowell fellowship and Open studio Residency, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.
