The League at NYC AIDS Memorial: Free Sketch
October 1, 4–6 PM
New York City AIDS Memorial Park at St. Vincent’s Triangle (Greenwich Avenue & West 12th Street)

The Art Students League of New York and the New York City AIDS Memorial are hosting a free, open-air live sketch event at the New York City AIDS Memorial Park at St. Vincent’s Triangle on Saturday, October 1.

Led by renowned League instructors, including artist and fashion illustrator Chuck Nitzberg, this free sketch is open to new and experienced artists who wish to practice drawing from the figure or experimenting with cityscapes. Work with some of The League’s favorite live models and learn from League instructors as you explore artmaking in this fun, free-spirited take on a traditional atelier-style art class. Basic artmaking supplies will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring whatever additional materials they wish to work with.
