Class Description

In this class, students explore the range of possibilities that watercolor offers for expressive, contemporary painting. By manipulating scale, layering pigment, and contrasting translucency and opacity, the boundaries of conventional watercolor technique are pushed in exciting directions. Experimentation is encouraged and an emphasis is placed on individual artistic growth. All levels of experience are welcome.
