Individual instruction throughout the week.
Students may work on self-directed projects, drawing self-portraits, the portrait and the figure from life at home. They may also copy master drawings assigned by the instructor. Correspondence will be conducted primarily by email and may be supplemented by phone or FaceTime discussions. Each student will receive private individualized instruction, consisting of written critiques of drawings and the sharing of work and demonstration images. Whether working from life or master drawings, the priority is a better understanding of the figure, its movement and form.
