The Art Students League of New York

Supporting the Art Students League

For more than 130 years, the Art Students League of New York has been a home to artists from around the world, nurturing the creative process and unleashing a passion for art in its students. As the preeminent atelier-based school of the visual arts, the League has been instrumental in shaping America’s artistic legacy – a place where many renowned artists studied, including O’Keeffe, Pollock, Rauschenberg, Rothko, Nevelson, Rosenquist, Lichtenstein, Rockwell among many others.

As a nonprofit institution, donations and volunteer efforts are of critical importance to our future – to help us continue our tradition of offering the finest quality of art education at an affordable cost and to ensure that our historic, landmark center in Manhattan and our Vytlacil campus in the Hudson River Valley just outside the city have appropriate facilities.

We thank our donors and volunteers for their dedication and loyalty to the League, and look forward to working with new League friends as we shape the future of our great institution.
